Creating a Christmas garden

Creating a Christmas garden

It is almost that time of the year! Whilst you might have been thinking about the kind of Christmas tree you would like to have in the living room and what dinner to serve to the family as well as that you will probably spend most of the time indoors, let’s not just forget the garden!

Here are some inspirational tips for you to create your own perfect winter wonder garden:

  • Lantern candles
Candles are warm and welcoming. During this time of year, you would want to use lanterns to make sure the candles keep burning. Moreover, lanterns make it even more decorative and cosy. You might want to consider the lanterns to have a functional purpose too, by highlighting the path in the garden or the stairs to your front door!
  • Create a fire pit
Whilst you are prepared to decorate your garden, why not spend just a little time in the garden too? Adding a heat source to your garden will make quite inviting to have an ‘after dinner drink’ outside of the house. You could use a fire bowl or create your own fire pit in order for your friends and family to gather around and enjoy.
  • Get creative with Christmas baubles, berry twigs and artificial snow.
All those decorative items you can use for your Christmas centrepiece in the house, can be used in the garden too! You can garnish your garden plants by adding these items on top, next to or under it.
  • Christmas lighting
Traditional Christmas lighting will look even better when being used as pergola or fence decoration. You can also light up that tree to replace the fallen leaves!
