Aylings Garden Centre and Tearoom is a friendly family business situated on the A272 between Midhurst and Trotton. Our charming tearooms have proven to be a delightful place to enjoy an afternoon tea.
Geroge Ayling founded Aylings in 1934, he bought 3-acres of land for £300. It took him 4 years to pay off the loan. George, his brother Wilfred and his son Anthony ran the business until 1999 when it was sold. It has changed hands a couple of times since but in 2017 it was sold to us. With the excellent support of our hard-working employees, Aylings Garden Centre has continued to grow. We are able to explore a wider range of quality products such as garden furniture, gifts, and cards, we even have locally sourced products from independent creators.
